How do you consume music?
Downloaded music, TV music channels, radio, CDs, YouTube.
When? do you have a daily music routine? Is some music more suitable at a certain time of day than another?
I play capital radio in the morning and on the way to school in the car, during school and when I'm working I listen to my downloaded music on my iPod. When I'm going to bed I listen to chill out music.
Where?
In the car, doing work in school, in my room when getting ready etc. If I go to gigs.
Who with? do you share your music or is it an individual experience?
When I'm in school I sometimes listen to the same songs with friends etc. In the car I listen with my family. However when I'm doing work at home I listen to the music on my own.
How? radio, computer, ipod, tv, live, dancing, homework, getting ready ie doing other things - background wallpaper
By downloading music on the computer and putting it onto my iPod, I also listen to the radio when I'm getting ready in the morning.
Why? What are the pleasures associated with music consumption? What does it offer the audience and what needs does it gratify
I think depending on the genre of the music it can change how you are feeling for example if your in a sad mood by putting up beat music on it can change your mood. I also think that it helps me when working because I do not like sitting in silence therefore cheering you up to do the work.
