Childhood: Rosie & Jim theme tune
When I was little my favourite children’s program was Rosie & Jim and the theme song that went along with it i would sing along to all the time, it drove my mum mad. It would be on at lunch time and I would make my mum watch it every day and sing along, even when it wasn’t on, I made my mum buy a video so i could sing along to it even more.
Early Teens: Hey Mickey
I remember this song from when i was about 7, when i would go to my cousins house and this was her favourite song she would always sing it and we would dance around her room to it over and over again, we even made a dance up to it, which we still remember and laugh about now.
Present: The A Team- Ed Sheeran
I like this song because although the lyrics are all negative he turns the situation around and calls the star of the video an “angel” although she is living on the streets as a prostitute. Therefore taking something horrible and making it brighter and happier, also along with a catchy and upbeat tune.
